A girl in hostel

I was in college and everybody constantly bullied me verbally. I was the one of the few girls in hostel from a specific caste, all the others were from different castes. They would constantly say stuff like you are ***** you don’t eat expensive things like paneer, and that you ***** don’t spend money. However all of those comments were just stereotypical, and not true. I was not spoilt, and I knew the value of money. My father had passed away and we were not in great condition financially that time. But none of those girls knew what was the truth. So their comments hurt me terribly. On the inside I know they didn’t intend to hurt me. But all their words pinch me even today.
